2026 Laramie County Fair Mutton Bustin'

This contest is open to all Laramie County youth between the ages of 5 and 8 years old. Contestants must be no taller than 52 inches and no heavier than 60 pounds. All sign-ups will be taken electronically. The entry forms will be available on the website with the first 100 children being entered. Any additional children past the first 100 will be added to a wait list. You will be contacted via email after registration of your placement. All 100 entered and the additional waitlisted children will need to attend the weigh-ins. If one of the 100 entered children does not pass the height and weight requirements, then we will add the first child in order from the wait list.

Event: There will be ten (10) sections with ten (10) riders in each section. The riders with the top scores in each section will ride again to compete for the “Champion Mutton’ Buster“ of the Laramie County Fair and be awarded a buckle.
