The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce annually recognizes outstanding contributors within our business community. Finalists will be celebrated on Friday, June 11, and winners will be announced. Nominations are submitted and finalists are selected by the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Business Council.
CHAMBER SPIRIT: These individuals are highly engaged in the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce and the broader community. They demonstrate leadership and serve as strong ambassadors of the business community.
EMERGING LEADER: Nominees are highly ambitious young professionals who are instrumental in the Cheyenne community, the Chamber, and other community organizations. Young professionals must be 35 years of age and under.
COMMUNITY SERVICE: The Community Service Award finalists include businesses that make a difference through outstanding community initiatives and contributions. These businesses generously put others first and support charitable organizations.
NON-PROFIT OF THE YEAR: Finalists include organizations that make a difference through outstanding initiatives and contributions, kindheartedly put others first. Nominees must be classified as a non-profit.
LARGE BUSINESS: Finalists offer specialized services, are engaged in the Cheyenne community and have made a tremendous impact on the Cheyenne area. Large businesses have 26 or more employees.
SMALL BUSINESS: These finalists exemplify a strong entrepreneurial spirit and provide a unique culture within our community. These employers must have fewer than 25 employees.
Additionally, the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors will recognize greatness with the following awards.
BUSINESS ADVOCATE AWARD: Awarded to a community leaders who goes above and beyond to create a business friendly environment for our community.
COMMITTEE OF THE YEAR: The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce is comprised of business professionals who volunteer their time, talents, and resources to help achieve the mission of the Chamber. A committee which is doing an outstanding job of championing the Chamber's mission is recognized.
PERSON OF THE YEAR: Person of the year is the highest honor bestowed by the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce.
