Nikki Villagomez is a nationally recognized typography speaker and a Louisiana State University BFA Graphic Design graduate. After working as a designer in NYC, she became a full-time freelancer in South Carolina and founded the AIGA chapter there. An educator in Graphic Design and Typography, she has taught at the University of South Carolina and the University of Akron. Currently living in Charlotte, NC, she is the Chief Marketing Officer at BRC, a CPA and advisory firm, and has maintained her blog, culture+typography, since 2012
