Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death in Wyoming among ages 10-34 - and it is preventable. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention leads the fight against suicide. Funds raised from the Out of the Darkness Walks are used to finance research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss. Help us save lives and bring hope. You can provide help by: - Sponsoring Laramie County Out Of The Darkness Walk and showing our community that you are a voice for suicide prevention - Registering a team and joining us on September 28 - Volunteering to serve on the Laramie County Out Of The Darkness Walk planning Committee or to help on the day of the event - Donating to the walk, a walk team, or an individual walker Contact Information: A committee of local volunteers dedicated to suicide prevention, along with AFSP Wyoming staff members, are coordinating this event.
