In 1985, 10-year-old Brian of Gillette wished to have a BMX bike. Brian’s wish was not only the first to be granted by Make-A-Wish® Wyoming, but it began a legacy of serving children battling life-threatening medical conditions across the state for decades to come. Inspired by Brian’s wish and the 500 Wyoming wishes that have since been granted, Make-A-Wish® Wyoming is excited to present the second annual Tour de Wish 5k series.
A Cheyenne Tour de Wish event will be held on September 3, 2016 starting at the Lion’s Park Amphitheatre. Just as a wish has the ability to bring together a community, it is our hope that Tour de Wish events will do the same. We would like to invite you to be part of the magic of wish granting as a sponsor, volunteer, or participant of Make-A-Wish® Wyoming Cheyenne.
This family friendly event will consist of routes for bikers, runners, and walkers, free break food, a drawing for a full-sized trampoline, special coupons from our gracious sponsors, and more! Join us and be a part of the Make-A-Wish® Wyoming story that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy!
