Colonel Peter M. Bonetti is the Commander of the 90th Missile Wing, Francis E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo. The wing’s 4,200 military, civilian and contractor personnel defend the United States with combat- ready Airmen and nuclear forces. They provide strategic nuclear deterrence by operating, maintaining, securing and supporting 150 Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles which are constantly ready to launch at the direction of the President of the United States. Colonel Bonetti entered the Air Force in 1988 and received his commission in 1995 through the Air Force Officer Training School. He has served in a variety of positions within missile and space launch operations, including crew commander, instructor, senior evaluator, flight commander and executive officer. His staff assignments include various positions at Headquarters Air Force, United States Africa Command, and Air Force Space Command. Prior to his current assignment, Colonel Bonetti was the Vice Commander, 341st Missile Wing, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana. CAPTAIN DERRIN J. GOULD Captain Derrin J. Gould is Flight Commander of Nuclear Cryptographic Operations, 90th Operations Group, 90th Missile Wing, Francis E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. He leads a flight of 20 personnel conducting wing nuclear cryptographic operations to provide positive control & nuclear surety. The flight is responsible for production, control, issue & recovery for 3,500 critical code components worth over $216M, in support of 150 Minuteman III ICBMs and 15 launch control centers dispersed over 9,600 square miles. Captain Gould is a prior-enlisted Airman who previously worked as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Apprentice, and subsequently commissioned through the United States Air Force Academy in 2013. He has served in a variety of missile operations positions such as Missile Combat Crew Commander, Nuclear Cryptographic Operator, instructor, and evaluator. Prior to his current assignment, he served as the Chief of Standardizations & Evaluations, Nuclear Cryptographic Operations, Francis E. Warren AFB, Wyo. Captain Gould is married to former Angelica Vargas of Killeen, Texas. They have two daughters, Athena and Ariana, and a son, Domonic.
