Pottery Class- Slabs Forms and Surfaces

Working with clay slabs is a great way to achieve forms with angles and textures that are not attainable on the pottery wheel. In this class we will explore hand building with slab techniques and forms, creating templates, applying texture, and a surface design carving called sgraffito on functional pottery. Due to the small class size no prior experience is necessary and all levels are welcome.

This course meets once a week on Wednesdays for 6 weeks.
