Trap Tournament Hosted By The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the first annual Trap Tournament. Teams of 5 can compete for awards in their business category. Categories are as follows:

• Financial Institutions
• Construction
• Professional Services
• Real Estate
• Community/Media

IMPORTANT: Below are event details to read prior to Friday's Tournament. Please forward this message along to ensure everyone is prepared.

SHOOT & SCORE!

All Throughout the Day! - We will have GAMES (Giant Jenga, Yardzee, Checkards) in addition to shooting from 50/50 raffle, to raffle tickets to win some stellar prizes (Sportsman's Warehouse Product & Gift Card, Shooting Glasses from A New Concept Optical & Eyeware, Accomplice, Pine Bluffs Distilling, Accomplice, DazBog Coffee and many more), 6 Tickets for $5 and there are 8 "On Target" Raffle Prizes, so be a sharp shooter and buy plenty to win! Be armed and ready for a good time! Because this is a PARTY, we will have LIVE music throughout the day from the support of WyoMusic.

TOURNAMENT AGENDA

• 12:00 P.M.- Check-in- A check-in table will be located inside the Clubhouse. Teams will be assigned a shooting location and shooting time upon check-in. Each team will be required to read and sign a Safety Agreement. The Club may also require a safety demonstration if you have never shot a gun before. - RESERVE YOUR PRO! For just $50, you can hire a pro to shoot in place of one team member for one round. Use it in the first round or save them for the final, your choice! Buy your pro at Check-In.
  12:50 P.M.- Shotgun Start [WINK WINK]

• 1:00 P.M. - 2:30 P.M.- 1st Round of Teams - Each team is guaranteed 2 rounds of shooting, with 25 shots per team member, per round. Each team will assigned to one of five Business Categories, based on your business/sponsor. The top scoring team from each of the 5 categories will advance to the final round, along with 3 "wild card" teams (the highest scoring teams that were not Category Champions).
  2:30 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. 2ND Round of Teams

• 4:00 P.M. - Final Round & Dinner - The final 8 teams will shoot in a 3rd Round to determine overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. DINNER will begin for all other guests.

• 5:00 p.m. - Award Ceremony & Raffle Drawings

• 6:00 p.m. - Event Concludes!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: WHAT SHOULD I BRING? 

1. If you have a gun, bring it! We will have a VERY LIMITED supply of guns available to rent. Please notify us if you need to reserve one. First come first serve.

2. Provide your own ammo! The only permitted ammunition is Target Load. Only 7 1/2, 8, or 9 size shot in target loads of 3 dram or less equivalent (1200fps) can be used. Failure to comply with this will result in removal from the tournament and the premises. Target Load ammo is available at any sporting goods store, gun store or any place in Cheyenne that sells guns. Ammo will be available on-site for purchase from the Trap & Skeet Club.  

3. Everyone shooting is also required to wear ear and eye protection. The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce with the support of its sponsors will provide both for those who need them, if you have your own feel free to utilize them.

If you have not been there before, take Central Ave. west over I-25 towards Gate 5 of the Base. Turn south (left) onto Bishop Blvd. which is essentially the parking lot of WYDOT. Continue on Bishop until it forces you to turn right on a gravel road. (if you continue through the fence you will drive onto the 5th Fairway of the Country Club). Continue on the dirt road and it will take you to the Trap Club parking lot. For ONLINE DIRECTIONS

• Bull's Eye Dessert will be available for purchase at an Ice Cream Truck!

WHAT IF I AM NOT A SHOOTER?

We will have lots of yard games set up including Corn Hole, Yardzee, Giant Jenga, and Checkers. Plus take advantage of the networking opportunities as many prominent business professionals will be taking part in the day's festivities.
