Program Managers with The Align Team develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all partners to fulfill contract obligations effectively, on time, and within budget. This includes serving as the primary contact for clients, customers, vendors, and peers, and final responsibility for program outcomes. Program Managers also coordinate Align employees to design and implement effective client processes and compile reports. As required by the program, Program Managers may supervise other employees or manage external boards and volunteer groups. This opening is for the Low-Income Energy Assistance contract with the Wyoming Department of Family Services and is the primary expert on processing, customer service, and program problem-solving. Contract-specific duties include: Work with staff to resolve program and process concerns or issues Program oversight, compliance, and budget monitoring Review and process applications serve as the top-level support for client concerns and issues Build and maintain client relationships with DFS Coordinate and collaborate with DFS to coordinate efforts and maintain current SOP and Guides Maintains quality assurance process, including efficiency and effectiveness reviews for application processing, and monitoring internal audits for contract performance, including phone calls for customer service, phone applications, application processing, payment posting, and fuel supplier support Identify and provide training opportunities for staff Complete and/or conduct annual training on established SOPs and guides, fraud prevention, and customer service Attend the annual National Energy and Utility Affordability Coalition conference. Participate in the annual Fuel Supplier Vendor Town Halls and Vendor Education Summit Organizational Relationships Supervises seven full-time staff and a seasonal staff of up to 20, with assistance from the program coordinator and lead program specialist. Reports to the Vice President of Program Management. Minimum Qualifications A bachelor’s degree or equivalent education or experience is required Experience in program and project management, including effectively coordinating people and processes Preferred Qualifications Experience working with state government, including state and/or federal grant management Relationships with relevant communities and populations across the state Additional program-related experience, for example, experience with grantee management and grant-making processes, procedures, and requirements
