Community Action of Laramie County, Inc. (CALC)

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Community Action of Laramie County, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Laramie, Platte, Lincoln, and Sublette Counties since 1968. CALC provides housing, healthcare access, in-home services, and economic support to help individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the senior leader responsible for advancing CALC’s mission, overseeing programs and operations, managing resources, and representing the organization across Wyoming. The CEO reports directly to the Board of Directors.
Lead strategic planning and organizational vision in collaboration with the Board.
Oversee program development, operations, compliance, and quality standards.
Manage fundraising efforts, including grants, major gifts, and partnerships.
Direct financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
Represent CALC with community partners, government agencies, and funders.
Recruit, develop, and support staff; foster an inclusive and accountable workplace culture.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
7–10+ years senior leadership experience (nonprofit or public sector preferred).
Proven fundraising success and budget management experience.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
Knowledge of Wyoming’s communities, culture, and policy environment.
Preferred:
Experience in rural or frontier communities.
Background in social services, public health, education, or related fields.
Bilingual or multicultural experience.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, background check, and drug/alcohol screenings required.
