About Us

Sheridan Wyoming’s most highly awarded brewery sits in the heart of the Wild West, at the base of the majestic Big Horn Mountains. Our inspiration in determining a name for the company came from Black Tooth Mountain, standing tall at 13,014 ft. elevation. At Black Tooth Brewery we are creating fun, unique and quality craft beer, and have been doing so for the last nine years. Black Tooth’s humble beginning started in November of 2010 with a team of five, a 10 BBL brewhouse, and a western-industrial themed taproom. After five years of winning medals and offering consistently clean, darn good beer, Black Tooth expanded in the Spring of 2015 to a 30 BBL brewhouse. The multi-million-dollar expansion included adding a canning line for packaging, putting Black Tooth on the map as our distribution spanned from WY and NE, to SD and MT. In 2020, Black Tooth opened a new 10 BBL brewhouse and taproom in the Capital City. With new features including a live music stage, railroad-inspired elements, and a private barrel room for meetings and parties, what better way to “Drink the West” and celebrate Cheyenne’s history, tourist attractions, and its beer-drinking residents with a beautiful new facility in a vintage building?
