About Us

The Cheyenne Little Theatre Players (CLTP) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, community theatre whose mission is to consistently bring high quality, community-based theatrical entertainment and education to people of all ages in the tri-state region of Wyoming, northern Colorado, and western Nebraska, as well as to visitors to Cheyenne from throughout the world.

CLTP offers a year-round season of full-scale musical, comedy and dramatic productions, including Staged Readings and The Old Fashioned Melodrama. Established in 1956, The Old Fashioned Melodrama is CLTP's longest continuing production. During the season, approximately 2,500 CLTP volunteers contribute to the group?s successful shows by performing, directing, building sets, operating spotlights, ushering, serving concessions, staffing will-call and the box office and doing much, much more. Approximately 16,000 area residents attend CLTP programs & events each year.

A major focus of the CLTP programs is theater education. For several years, CLTP has sponsored classes and educational programs for learners of all ages. CLTP offers an annual Youth Summer Stock that gives area students grades 2-12 a comprehensive theater education and practical theater experience, as well as providing two delightful stage productions for the public.

The Vision of the Cheyenne Little Theatre Players is to be the consistent choice of those seeking quality entertainment.
