About Us

LCCC started in 1968 as a full-service, comprehensive community college. The college moved to its current location in November 1969 after having offices and classrooms in several locations in downtown.

Our Future
LCCC has a plan in place to meet the needs of the campus through the upcoming years. The college's 2030 comprehensive strategic plan details how we want to move forward in the coming years; incorporate our mission, vision and values into our daily operations; and how we want to continue to be the leader in producing high-quality and highly qualified graduates who are either workforce ready or prepared to continue their higher education learning.
