About Us

The Joannides Family Foundation was founded on the core values of faith, family, and stewardship, with a purpose of leaving a legacy of helping to serve and provide opportunities to our communities through philanthropic support.



Tim Joannides has been in the retail automotive business for over 50 years, the last 36 in Cheyenne. He was born and raised in the Quad City area of Illinois where he attended Bradley University and worked for some of the top dealers in Illinois and Arizona before moving to Cheyenne in 1983.



Timothy is the Chairman of the Board of Halladay Motors Inc. in Cheyenne, WY where he has presided over unprecedented growth in both the number of vehicle franchises and in company sales and revenue. Halladay Motors was named one of the fastest growing businesses in the Northern Colorado/Southern Wyoming area. Tim purchased Halladay Motors from Carl Halladay Jr. in 1993. Carl's father, Carl Halladay Sr., opened the Cheyenne dealership in 1944. In March of 2020 Tim sold Halladay Motors to James D. Casey who became the 4th President. Halladay’s presently is a franchise dealer for Cadillac, Buick, GMC, Nissan, and Subaru.



Tim is looking forward to his new role as Chairman of the Board of Halladay Motors. Turning the reins over to Jim will now allow him to spend more time with his family and friends as he continues to manage Joannides Family Properties and Family Foundation. Giving back to God what he has so generously given to him, he will continue be a good steward in the community, state, and country. He is not going to retire; he is going to refire!
